Plans to redevelop Swanwick Marina are now back on track...

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Governement Hazel Blears has backed down over plans for an enquiry in to the redelopment of the marina which had already been passed by Fareham Council.

No reason was given by Ms Blears when she stepped in and at the moment no reason has been given for backing down either. Premier, who own the marina are now talking to Fareham Council so they can get their plans back on track as soon as possible.

The proposed plans will see new marina offices and accommodation on the site.
